What’s the show about?
MAN OVERBOARD!!! is the age old tale of a closeted gay kid from Bermuda eventually coming out as a comedian, bumbling through life, and fighting a government in an LGBTQ rights battle, but it’s told in a fresh new way! It’s an unforgivably autobiographical story but this isn’t therapy for him, or for you, though Roderick encourages you to seek help elsewhere. A story told well with lots of humor, a few songs, and a little drama. Directed by the incomparable Faith Prince, with musical direction and arrangements by Bobby Peaco, this show debuted with a splash at CabaretFest in Provincetown, MA in 2021.
