MEMORY LANE

On October 31st I had the pleasure of performing in Susie Mosher’sincredibly fun variety show called THE LINEUP. You have to experience Susie Mosher! I’m a huge fan and she’s a delightful host. It’s every Tuesday at Birdland Jazz Club in the Birdland Theater downstairs.

In April I performed “Great Gay World” by Jake Landau at a fundraiser for Off-Brand Opera! Singing, ARCHERY & libations. And we survived!

In December I had the pleasure of performing in Carousel with the company Off-Brand Opera. I was David Bascombe, Dr. Seldon, and in the ensemble with a passion for whaling you had to see to believe!

In 2021, I had the pleasure of playing The Wolf, Rapunzel’s Prince, and the Palace Steward in Sondheim’s Into The Woods

The Marrying Kind

Honestly, I’d love to be sending out wedding invitations, but…well, it’s a long story…which is why I’ve turned it into a play!

It’s the classic story of that time I sued the Bermuda Government to fight for gay marriage, without even having a boyfriend. As a closeted gay kid who was raised in Bermuda, my desire for love and a fairy tale ending has taken me on a truly absurd journey. See what happens when you rock the boat in a very small island nation.

Highly recommended by his dentist and his life coach, Roderick Ferguson is a NYC-based comedian, singer, and actor. His latest one man show MAN OVERBOARD!!!, directed by Faith Prince with musical arrangements by Bobby Peaco, made a splash in Provincetown this summer, and plans are in the works to take it on a land tour.

After some time working in software, Roderick made the switch to delight audiences with his infectious spark of mischievous joy. Roderick recently studied at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre where he learned that his “type” is not necessarily sane.

In addition to his solo cabaret shows in Boston and Provincetown, Roderick has performed stand-up at Nick’s Comedy Stop, The Comedy Studio, and as part of the LGBT showcase of the Women in Comedy Festival. Roderick has also served as host for open mic nights at the Napoleon Room at Club Café, Boston’s premier piano bar venue. He’s been known to perform in New York City, Provincetown, and Bermuda as well.
